What Choice Are You Making?

“Happiness is a choice. Happiness is a habit. And happiness is something you have to work hard at. It does not just happen.”
– Leslie Jordan

When we recognize unhappiness or discontent in our lives, it’s easy to blame it on the external things around us: If I only had a different job, or if I only had a better house, or if my partner would stop doing that then things would feel different. In reality, while those things may have a role in how you’re feeling, you also do.

You can choose to find the good in those tough situations or you can choose to change the situation. Seek out a different career; Move to a new space or renovate your current space; communicate with your partner about what bothers you.

Remember: what you aren’t changing in your life, you are choosing for your life.
